How Dentures are Made? - Jai Krishan Dental Lab

What is Denture?

The denture is a set of artificial teeth that look very real. Full dentures are useful if you do not have a single tooth in your mouth, or Partial dentures are helpful if you do not have some of your teeth in your mouth. Dentures fit easily in your mouth and make you feel very comfortable. You can eat anything by applying dentures, but some things have to be eaten with little attention such as walnuts, guava, etc. Because these things sometimes break our real teeth too. By applying denture, your face will also look good.

How Dentures Are Made?

If your dentist has said that you will have to get a denture. Then the doctor first places a sticky item on top of a tray that helps in getting the impressions of your mouth gums. Then the doctor takes an impression of your mouth gums. The doctor then mixes a powder with liquid in a bowl then pours it into that tray.

When that impression becomes hard, it is sent to our lab. The entire process starts from here. In the first impression, a base of the mouth is prepared from the baseplate, which will make it easier for the technician to get a tooth.

Then, the Technician articulates it to make it even easier to attach teeth. Then Technician applies the teeth to the model with wax that looks like a real one. The model is then stored in a flask and covered. Then heat the flask in water which separates all the waxes. Leaving the model to cool down. Then put the material in it. The technician trims it and polishes the dentures. Then it is sent to the Dentist.
